I bought the D-link G650M today for usd25 in Hong Kong.
It is MUCH MUCH better than the internal Intel wifi card.
To be frank, the internal Intel card is not usable.

I upgraded from 2x512M to 1x512M+1x1G.
I really not noticed any performance different due to not running at dual channel.

I download from the lenovo and always corrupted.

PS. I only have web access due to the Taiwan Earthquake and cannot use the software update.

Just tried and sharpkey detects the fn keys just fine.

I believe you need to use the utility which comes with your thumb drive to make it bootable.

I had 3 thumb drives and only the Transcend has this utility.

i can see from the wifi icon that the wifi connection was lost and then reconnect in about 10s later

I just found the disconnect was due to the discount of the wifi (did not notice it before).

I am already on my 2nd router. Used to use the Buffalo with my old Dell (with intel card) and then now using Zyxel mimo.

My router is the strongest of the available routers and I use Dect phone. Please note I dont have disconnect with Internet (only Ipsec).
