Re: Good GPS navigation for windows (x86)
certain toughbooks have an internal GPS option.
that will come in real handy,
the gps dongle tends to eat up usb ports after time with all the shaking that goes on in the truck...

what you need is a dual link dvi cable / connection to get the WQXGA 2560x1600 your monitor needs. an overview of the dvi interface http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dvi you need to check if your particular x1300 can do dual link dvi output. use the proper cable and you should be all set. there is a lot ...

X61 IPS/Flexview panel question
I've been looking over the tabook and thinkwiki and have some questions. 1. Do some of the X61 series(non-tablet) have IPS/Flexview panels? 2. Do ALL X61s have ultralight displays or can it be configured with the normal one my research tells me it's no for both questions. I have a bet going with a r...

the Z series is discontinued. If they are selling, they're selling off stock. It should be noted that Rivan's "grinding halt problem" was the harddrive APS working. Running games with only 512megs of ram didn't help either. The Z series was Lenovo's first try at a "consumer" thinkpad. wide screens(a...

mtommy, Welcome to forums. There is no physical second SATA port on your Z61p. However there are a couple of ways to connect a second SATA drive to your TP 1. use the 2nd harddrive adapter Ultrabay slim (fits in your ultrabay enhanced. just swap it with your DVD) 2. use a eSATA pcmcia or eSATA expre...

1. the thinkvantage software that comes standard with all thinkpads, have it's uses but when put together, it takes alot of resources. you should see what you need and what you don't and uninstall them. if you don't, the untouched setup will take about 400-500megs of ram and 90 processes 2. install ...

Hello Rivan, First, you should let us know what the specs of your Z61m is. Also, are you running vista? The 10 minutes of slow down can be anything; it could be your drive being indexed, background defragmentation, windows updates being downloaded in the background(if you have slow internet, this wi...
