After a couple of months to test and use I too am very surprised at how quickly the battery drains in sleep mode. I am kinda unhappy with my normal battery performance as well. All in all I love the laptop and would order another one tomorrow but I do wish the battery life was better.

The best i can tell, the x300 has no software to use with the gps? Am I mistaken? If there is no software preinstalled what does everyone suggest? I have a copy of MS Streets 2008 that i can use just wondering what everyones preference is.

Yea I neglected to tell you, right after i fixed my problem with VZManager i uninstalled it and used Mobile Broadband Connect and all has been working well.

I had a problem with my wwan that was my screwup but i couldnt get it fixed so called lenovo they wanted $99 just to talk to me, i said screw it, installed vzmanager from verizon and that fixed my problem.
