Not even the WinCE crowd. In fact even today the NZ90 has the highest rez of all PDA/cellphone units.
And yes, for truly pofessional pics I have another camera with 5.6MP and 40x Zoom.

No lens in the world has 40 x zoom, unless you count digital zoom, which is simply cropping the image.

Actually I believe a 5mp camera phone just came out ( dont know the reference off the top of my head )

Just received a S30 and its a great little machine.

It has the maximim 256 ram and internal WiFi so I'm currently only looking to upgrade the 30gb 4.2k HD. What limitations does this machine have as far as HDs are concerned? I'm runing XPP on it so is their suggestions on how to set up XPP to make it run faster considering the machines modest amount of ram? Any other suggestions for a new S30 owner?

That was a long, long time ago in a galxy far far aw....No, no I think that is where Batuta was from to begin with and not this thread. But it was a farily good while ago in any case.

Ah well, there is far more entertaining reading, as such mentioned, in the OS/2 forum.

i have a 40gb hitachi E7K60 in my s30 and overall speed increased about 2x. startup with this drive and XPP takes about 45 seconds from cold boot to a working desktop -- much quicker than my T42p running server 2003. there are no limitations on the hard drive as long as you install a parallel drive (ATA-5 or ATA-6). i'd recommend a 100gb hitachi 7K100 if you need the room but i wouldn't necessarily recommend an E-series drive.

here is a link to the s30 device driver matrix. it's in japanese so either take japanese in college like i did or use altavista's translator.

here is a link on the u.s. ibm site which may be of some use as well.
