As near as I can tell, it's been down for days.
Although it could be my firewall. I was monkeying around with it the other day...

David,
Check this link for some info on ftp ports
http://slacksite.com/other/ftp.html
It may be of some help.
Cheers,
Rob.

Excellent - thanks Rob.
I was just on grc.com doing a few port scans as all this firewall tinkering got me thinking about this stuff. Says I failed, but it didn't find any open ports, so I'm fine.
I'm running PC-Cillin Internet Security 2004 and, I think, my firewall on my wireless router is 'active', although I really can't tell.
Here's a screenshot of my firewall panel on my router. As near as I can tell, from the rule list, it's blocking pretty much everything. Or is it? The manual is pretty lousy as it doesn't really explain what those default rules (i didn't add them) are doing.

Sorry, Rob - not directing all these questions at you specifically - wondering if anyone can shed some insight.
