Check them out. Dual memory slots are back on the T-series. The battery is again classified as a CRU.

I was just coming now to see if anyone had posted about this yet. Looks like I'm going to have an upgrade path when my T480 gets too old :D :D :D

That's really nice to hear, I've been turned down because of lack of modularity in latest ThinkPads. Now we just have to wait unitl Gen 5 gets old in enough to be available cheaply as a post-leasing second-hand computer ;)
