WXGA screen upgrade?
wonder if i can upgrade a WXGA(1280x800) screen to WXGAp, WXGAppHD(1600x900) or WSXGAp(1680x1050)?
the original code is this, but it doesn't show any compatible screens with resolution upgrades at all:
https://www.panelook.com/QD14TL01%20Rev ... ble_Models
so maybe i just have to search via the resolution numbers and see on the picture if the connectors fit at all?

Re: WXGA screen upgrade?
What machine is this?
14.1" wide screens were available in two resolutions only: WXGA (1280x800) and WXGA+ (1440x900).

Re: WXGA screen upgrade?
14.1" Wide is the term used to distinguish 14.1" 16:10 screens from 14.1" 4:3 screens, or in retroactive nomenclature 14.1" Standard screens, which also share the 14.1" diagonal.
You may not know this off the top of your head yet, but "WQHD" is 2560x1440 which is a 16:9 aspect ratio resolution. The fact that a screen like this exists which also shares a 14.1" diagonal does not at all change the meaning of 14.1" Wide, as defined in the previous paragraph, because in practice, all 14.1" Wide laptops ever produced had 16:10 screens.
And no 14.1" Wide ThinkPad ever had a resolution other than 1280x768, 1280x800, or 1440x900.

Re: WXGA screen upgrade?
well, i would not mind couple of weird lines or cracks here or there, as long as it would fit quite ok and show me the output a bit on this one
