Is it possible to make recovery DVD rather than CD's?

I just got a new 14" T42p (2373-P1U) today, and I'm making recovery discs.

Is it possible to burn a single DVD, rather than multiple CD's?

First disk has to be a CD-R for some reason, but after that, put in a DVD-R and it will fill it up with the rest of the stuff.
