My new (to me) T61p

#1 Post by oeuvre » Fri May 02, 2014 8:37 am

Here it is, a T61p with 2.4GHz dual core, 3GB RAM (want to upgrade that to 4GB), 100GB 7200RPM HD (may upgrade that too, not sure), NVIDIA FX 570 M, 1920x1200 display. It's in very good condition and the battery holds a 3 hour charge. I've installed Middleton BIOS as well. Thanks for looking.

Thank you for posting this.

W530 looks huge when compared to the T61p.

May your new catch serve you well.

Thanks!

They actually weigh about the same. There's a difference in build quality; the T61p is sturdier... and I got my W530 in January 2013 (it's been a good machine) but there is some shine on some buttons and the trackpad already (mainly space bar).

Yeah, there's some shine on the space bar and the trackpad surface. A couple of my friends have W520s and the same issue.

Thanks! Here's the background, designed to be tiled.
