Decided to take some pictures of my thinkpads.

Edit: resized the pictures

770, 600X, T23

T43, T61

T61 with new T60 parts (lid, basecover, german keyboard + bezel, semi new palmrest)

No clue on how to resize them. But perhaps in the mean time you should put warning in the title warning naive browsers some gigantic pictures are up ahead

Nice quality pics though. The T60 is my fav design. It's the most subtle

Thanks! I updated the title. The 14.1" T4* range looks the nicest to me. The unique angles on the lid, HDD area, grey function keys and assymetric hinges look great together. The T60 is a very close second, though, and looks remarkably similar.

Seriously resize them, irfanveiw on windows or GiMP on linux.

Nice machine but those pics totally bogged my X32.

I get sentimental when I see a T43. I have all 1440x900 screens on these T410 and T410s models. They can handle your big pictures. You have a nice looking collection.

The pics seem to be 4,000x3,000.
You need to resize them on your computer, using e.g. IrfanView, to say 800x600.
Then save the resized pic, and then upload the resized one.
It takes ages to see those pics in this thread (I'm at a friends house with only 1mbps speed).
On my X200s I can't see the whole pictures, they are too massive.
Same applies to most other people, I guess.

Thanks guys. I found out how to resize the images using imageshack. Just click on the settings menu for the image(s) and select "get image sizes or links".

A nice collection there. Always nice to see Thinkpads in good shape. As usual, it warms my heart that extra little bit to see the old units in the top picture.

For the T61, did you use the T61 base and simply used T60 hinges with the whole monitor assembly?

I believe it's a complete T60 lid (hinges, LCD, bezel and rear cover) on top of a T61 base.

Yes, it is an entire LCD assembly, including hinges. The motherboard and inner rollcage are the only T61 parts on this 'T61' machine. The rest are T60 parts, and makes it sort of a frankenpad.
