Any Forum members also running a PHPBB forum?

Our Forum 'physician' is on extended leave abroad.
So we are just wondering if any of our users are also running a PHPBB forum.
This Forum has a StopForumSpan Extension that enters messages in the Moderator Log.
In the Extension we have set Log a message: to No, but that does not seem to stop them.
Anybody else have that problem?

Also, with the 'doctor' away, how hard is it to update the Forum Software or its Extensions?
