ThinkCentre 8431-xxx - Promise of Value Chip (POV3)

Anyone have any information of Promise of Value (POV3) [25P5079] on Thinkcentre system board. I've been trying to search for information of POV3 on the IBM, Lenovo & Thinkcentre sites/forums but without success. The detail is very limited.
One thing I know though, if u took out this daughter board from the system/motherboard, the ThinkCentre will not boot. I belived, it is some kind of security board.
If any expert out there or any detail on this POV3, kindly drop me a line or two.
