Last IBM IntelliStation?

#1 Post by ThinkRob » Wed Oct 06, 2010 12:02 am

Just a quick question regarding lineage:

I know that there were a number of IntelliStations produced after the divestiture -- but who made them? They all bore IBM logos, were/all are supported by IBM, and since the x86-based ones are (internally) basically System x machines, I am wondering whether they were actually still made by IBM. Of course that's just a guess, so I wonder if anyone might have some idea of whether it's an accurate one.

Thanks!

I'd bet the answer is probably the same as to the server question (To which I also don't know the definitive answer, but suspect Lenovo is doing it all).
