T22 video adapter

#1 Post by T22 4me » Mon Jan 16, 2006 3:15 am

Long story short:I reformatted hdd on my T22 2647-4eu and reinstalled W2000.Downloaded Drivers from various sites.Downloaded SP4 & windows updates.

All Issues resolved except When I install the correct video adapter driver.I get the blue screen of death at startup and the message"Driver entry point not found"

If I start up in safe mode I can switch back to a VGA compatible Driver but in Display Settings It only has like 16 colors & 600 x 800 res.and pretty Crappy Graphics.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts..................... :?

WEll, the site appears to be down at the moment, but try installing the Software Installer from this page:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... AIBM-INDEX

It should make installing your drivers so much easier than trying to download drivers from various sites. Also, you should have only had to download the drivers from IBM's site, instead of various sites. Here is your driver page: Click Here

Been there,Done that. When I repeatedly Downoad this Driver it comes up and asks if I want to overwrite because it is already there.

I have the Drver onboard;but when I install it ,thats when I have a prob because it cant seem to find the "Driver entry point"

Any Idea about what it is asking for?

I did find 1 thing that resolved the issues with the video adapter or driver or whatever the problem.....................LINUX...........It has no issue with the adapter.Colors are fine, graphics are fine.not to mention all the other neat things I am finding during my learning curve...................... :P
