Sound Max problems

#1 Post by dorronto » Tue Feb 28, 2006 8:55 pm

I just installed the latest SoundMax audio driver from IBM to my T30, and now I can't shut down properly. The SMax4PNP.exe file wont shut down, and I have to use the on/off button to turn off my laptop.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,
Ron

Give the laptop to a fellow forum member? Just kidding.

Have you tried reinstalling the driver?

Or uninstalling it completely. Did you have problems before you decided to update the driver? If not, you may as well just revert to the old one.

Actually, the culprit was Access Connections 4.11. I deleted it from my T30 and so far so good. My Intel driver is taking take of the wireless connection. I'll just wait and see.

Thanks for the replies and NO I wont give it away :D
