Drop my T23 before I see significant performance loss?
My Yellow Lab snagged the power cord and jerked it right off the table, if this isn't good, I'll have to tell her not to do it anymore.
No real damage but the lid latches a with a little more difficulty and I found a hairline crack on the corner that impacted first.
So what is the record for drops before the unit gets tossed in the trashcan?

How many times can I....
Check your hard drive, when you start finding corrupted files you now theres shock damage.
Best bet is to turn off the ThinkPad before you slam drop it.
My big toe caught the power cord on my T23, slid off a coffee table, now my OS needs re-installed every other day.
Good deals on Ebay, lots of new 40's going for 50-60.

ive dropped my T23 more times than i care to say...
lets just say this. i dropped the darn thing about 5 feet onto concrete on the top right corner. the LCD bezel and backing cracked a bit, but thats it... the HDD is fine, the screen is fine, the rest of the machine is fine. My T23 was the absolute most robust system i had ever used till i got my T40.
