Actiontec 802MIP drivers?
Does ANYONE have WORKING driver set for the Actiontec 802MIP wireless card?
I've tried IBM (well, Lenovo) as well as Actiontec, but so far 2 cards don't work.

Found these for W2K and XP: http://images.weirdstuff.com/Drivers/Pr ... rivers.exe
Don't know if they work, that card is too old for my liking.
I probably still have 1/2 dozen lying around.

Re: Actiontec 802MIP drivers?
Is this the 802.11a/b card that came with some T23s? I have two of those cards. I was planning on setting up a T23 and running the XP recovery CD to get the drivers installed. That Should work, but RBS has a more direct way of installing the drivers.
As previously noted, that is the Only WiFi card that also has the MODEM on it, which is how the T23s were originally configured, so if you need both WiFi and the modem on the internal card, it's your only choice.

Re: Actiontec 802MIP drivers?
XP doesn't have the drivers for this card, so finding a decent driver is the only choice.

XP might not have them on its CD, but the IBM recovery CD should because this machine came with XP and an Actiontec Wifi / Modem card:skou wrote:XP doesn't have the drivers for this card, so finding a decent driver is the only choice.

T23 2647-95U, CPU: P 3, Speed: 1200, Std RAM: 256, HDD: 60 GB, Optical: DVD CDRW, Screen, 14.1 TFT, Modem: Yes, WiFi: B, NIC: Yes, OS: XP-P, Other: SXGA+ secure chip. I should know because I have one. I haven't gotten around to "recovering" it yet...
We ARE talking about the original card that came with T23, correct? I don't think there were any others.
Skou: does your card have IBM PN or FRU info on it? if so then i'm sure that's the card.
If you do not need the Modem, you can get an Intel BG2200 for about$10 incl shipping that will work fine and provide you with G speeds.
