My most actual Thinkpad:
T23 with 1,2 GHz PIII-M, CCFL XGA, big Docking and even an very seldom Ultrabay2000 Zip250 Drive
T450s with I7, FHD (AUO B140HAN01.3), 20GB Ram (one with no lenovo guarantee anymore because of real bad experiences with lenovo support)

Re: Ultrabay2000 Zip Drive Click of death
Well you should open it up, pray that the drive heads themselves are not damaged, and try giving it a cotton swab of alcohol to clean them.
Also make sure nothing is seizing up the motor.
I know those things are rare, I have a bunch of ZIP 100 disks but I gave up finding an Ultrabay 2000 Zip drive and went with a Dell C-bay one instead.
