my T30 original HD (Hitachi 40GB) won't boot anymore due to its failure. I have a PCMCIA HD card of 5 GB. Tried to install XP on it. The setup went ok and all files were copied but after the first XP reboot, the system does not boot from the PCMCIA card and stops leaving the installation uncomplete.
Any suggestion how to solve this?
Regards,
Robert

Boot from PCMCIA HD Card
Re: Boot from PCMCIA HD Card
From what I am reading, this feature has to be available in the bios for this to work. I don't think this is available for most laptops. But I may be wrong. If so, I would love to know how it's done. Good luck.
