T22 display too far to the right
I have a T22 type 2647 running Windows 2000. My screen has about a one-inch black border on the left, and the right part of the display is off the screen. The only way I can exit a program is to right click and choose "restore," and when the window is minimized (or partial screen), I can get to the options on the top right (minimize, restore, x).
This happened after the computer was without any power (including the backup battery) for about two hours.
If this has been covered before, I apologize. I did search the forum and found nothing.
Thank you!

There is a setting in BIOS under the display section - HV expansion [On] is default, Off is an option. Control LCD Horizontal/Vertical expansion state.
Try toggling this setting.

Re: T22 display too far to the right
If that doesn't work, then try re-seating the LCD ribbon cable connector to the motherboard (the easy one to get to) and/or the connector
on the back side of the panel (much harder). Use the directions from the Hardware Maintenance Manual to get at those places:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... IGR-4UYM3F
This seems to be a timing or control signal issue. If the cable is not the problem then I think it's either the panel or motherboard.

Re: T22 display too far to the right
Dear Harry and Ray,
The display works! After reviewing your posts, I realized it could be a connection problem. Because I had just removed the keyboard bezel before I had the problem, I again removed he keyboard and hinge cover, but this time I was a lot more careful in replacing them.
Full screen displays are really great.
Thank you so much for your help and suggestions.
Regards!
