OSD not working on T60p

#1 Post by ibrazhko » Fri Sep 02, 2022 5:36 pm

I have performed clean Windows 7 install on my T60p. I then installed all Windows updates and drivers (as downloaded from Lenovo EOL support page), and everything works fine except for the on screen display (OSD). No matter what I do, it just doesn't work! This is very frustrating.

As far as I know, the problem is most likely is in the realm of one of the three drivers: Power Manager Driver, Hotkey Features Integration, and Lenovo System Interface Driver. I've tried a few different versions, but nothing helps. Could please anyone with Windows 7 on their T60(p)/T61(P)/T400/etc advise which version of those three drivers mentioned above you're using to get the OSD to work?

Would be very helpful, because this problem is driving me nuts!

Okay, I was finally able to solve this by installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable package. File name is vcredist_x86.exe
