Unable to install Windows 7 in T61

Hi there!
I have a T61 with Middleton, 8 GB RAM & SSD.
I'm deciding which is the best OS to run on my T61. I've installed Win 7/32 Bits and Windows 10 (32 & 64 bits) with no issues.
But given my machine has 8 GB RAM, I'd like to install Win7 64 BIts and so far I've had no luck.

Win7 64bits Setup is not able to detect the Intel ICH8 SATA RAID Controller. I have downloaded drivers found on Lenovo legacy and they are not recognized. Compatibility mode on BIOS doesn't work.

Any tips? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Logically, Win7 should have all the drivers for these old controllers integrated. Try a different setup disk, or a Lenovo recovery media set.
