I tried to upgrade the BIOS of an X61 but it failed for some reason, so wondered about trying to create a bootable USB stick....

After reading:-

it sounds as though I can make a USB stick but need some files which don't seem to exist in the downloaded utility - 7nuj22us.exe

Any idea where to find the required IMG file?

I remember opening the ISO file with 7-zip to get the files that I need.

I finally came across an ISO. It wasn't downloadable directly from the BIOS update page.

It can be found here:-

https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/p ... uj22uc.iso

It's also available on this very website-- go to the Drivers link at the top of this page, just below the site banner.
