Open Office Won't & NeoOffice Open

I downloaded OO 2.0 installed X11user and configured X windows, OO icon is in the apps folder and installed but it will not open. X11 is in the dock, dragged the OO icon to the dock but it just bounces once and does not open.

I'm running 10.4 on my t60.

EDIT: Tried NeoOffice which doesn't even need X11 and it won't open either.

Everything else on this machine (other than the same hardware issues people are having already listed) is working fine.

I'm sure this is not the answer, but did you wait long enough. OO takes a looooooooooooooong time to open on my Linux boxes.

Yes, i remember from using it in Xandros it took a while, but in this case I'm pretty sure there is some configuration issue I have not found yet, I've done the complete install from scratch twice
