Thinkpad X61/OS X 10.5.1 video/sleep issues
Seems as if I was a bit too quick in praising 10.5.1 w/PC_EFI.
With 10.5.1 and PC_EFI 8.0 installed on a GUID partition using a vanilla kernel, sleep seems to finally work. However, I can't figure out how to switch the video output from the external VGA port to the internal LCD screen. Even when the laptop has nothing connected to it, and video is set to LCD in the BIOS, outputs video to the VGA port (I can tell because if I hook up a monitor to that, I can see the desktop on the external monitor, whereas the internal monitor just shows a blank greyish screen).
Using 10.5.1 and PC_EFI 8.0 installed on an MBR partition using the 10.5.1 ToH kernel, I have exactly the same video problem. In addition, sleep crashes the machine.
Using 10.5.1 with the standard bootloader on an MBR partition using the 10.5.1 ToH kernel, I have to remove the GMA X3100 kexts, or the machine crashes on bootup - so I don't get accelerated video. Also, VMWare Fusion crashes immediately upon launching a virtual machine.
Thoughts? Thanks.
