battery life for X61?

HI everyone,
well i might come back to thinkpads, as i have a change to get an X61 pretty cheap, but as i switched to mac for the OSX, i googled and it seems i can make pretty much everything up and running for x61, the only question i have what battery life should i expect (from a 4 and from a 8 cell battery)?
