G555 recovery discs?

Well I managed to get this G555 booting most the time (just a hobby machine), but the hdd is corrupted. I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone have any G555 recovery discs for windows 7? The issue besides the hdd was the power supply and battery are DOA.

Go to the repository thread in the Marketplace.
The W7 T400/T500 set is from the same time (ca. 2010).
Stick an SSD in, install W7, then hunt for any missing drivers in Lenovo's EOL portal.

Thanks for your reply. I have a set for a T420 (and the G555 drivers), which will probably work. I was just wondering if a set of G555 was floating around out there. Thanks again.

Remember that this is a THINKPADs Forum and the G555 is not one of those...
It belongs to the [deceptively named] Value Line, a.k.a. the even worse named Essentials.
