T500 dual external monitors

I want to have 2 external displays using my T500 using VGA and DisplayPort, but no matter how I connect the two displays, I can't get both of them to output video at the same time. Any thoughts?

Machines of that generation support a maximum of 2 monitors. You should be able to get 2 external monitors working, but only if the internal LCD is disabled.

Would it be possible with the Advanced Dock and an external GPU?
