Find and reload the driver. Even if it's bad it should still show up in Device Manager.

Click the driver link at the top of the page and look for it.

You might want to clean the contacts with an eraser, till they shine, then reseat it.
But if I were you, I wouldn't waste any time on that POS N1000.
Get an N6200 (FRU 60Y3231) or N6300 (FRU 60Y3233) instead, they should work OOTB.

i know this thread is old and OP has disappeared BUT i did find a solution on the t510s we have without wifi. in the bios there is a section under "security" called "i/o ports" and there are additional switches for wifi/bt etc, turn those on. we had 20 donated(edu) and 7 had no wifi, that was the fix. just figured i'd post that, as it may help someone else.
