Display cable

My LED status lights are always off ...
Are the display cables same for 1400x900 and the ordinary display.
I have a tube light display.

I saw on ebay a Genuine pulled out LCD screen display for T400 with a lot of wires at the screen bottom. I never had them. I have only wifi ,1400x900(CCFL).
NO WAN but a white tiny strip below the battery pack.
I never had a camera on the T 400 either.!
What were these wires for?.

There are several types of the display cables. First you need to find out where your LCD has a connector. It may be on the top of the screen or on the bottom. There are also different cables for web cams or without. The motherboard connector is always the same. The cables you're referring to may be the WWAN cables. They look like WiFi cables. Five cables in total (three for wifi and two for wwan). Also, some very rare Thhinkpads had a WUSB card that requires antenna. It could be even one more cable.

I am sure there were NO wire going from the mother board into the screen other than the lcd strip as I had managed to remove the top lid for xploring why my LEDs were NOR blinking. Could NOT understand what was what and got it rescrewed by a thinkpad service engineer .He advised me to forget the blinking lights for ever ..No need to change cable ...
All (Fn+F? ) keys work and also the tiny light at top of screen(Fn+PgUp).I have a wifi 5100 card which I put off and use instead use a cheap wifi dongle.(max 30 mbps from vodafon 4G LTE mobile).
