ThinkMods has not filled my order for 10 months

I ordered an Express Card to NVME adapter from Thinkmods on March 20, 2022, and I paid the order in full. I never heard another word from Thinkmods, and finally sent them emails on April 8 and May 4 inquiring as to when they will ship the order.

I never received a reply or the product I ordered. I sent them an email tonight to either send my order or issue a refund for the $48.99 they've had for almost 10 months.

Is ThinkMods still in business? With service like this I would advise everyone to not purchase from them.

You sure waited for a good long time with zero communication... I would have filed a claim for a refund from the credit card company, or PayPal, depending on how you paid, about 8 months ago.

Agree with everyone so far.

Unless you knowingly submitted a preorder for a part with a 6+ month lead time and accepted the risk of not ever getting it at that time, it would have been best to pursue a chargeback with the payment method when there was no shipment within the first few weeks. Always keep this in mind, regardless of promises (which it sounds like were absent anyway) before that window of opportunity closed (usually either 90 or 120 days, depending on the issuer).
