Is SL500 w/ gma 4500mhd enough to run CS4 apps?
I'm planning to get an SL500 with intel gma 4500mhd to replace my overheating hp dv2000. I've read a lot of reviews about 4500mhd and wonder if its enough to run CS4 applications like After Effects and Premiere Pro? I won't be doing any hd editing, just standard definition videos. My dv2000 with nvidia 7150m can very well run the apps although rendering was quite slow. Thanks in advance.

The 4500MHD will probably be slightly better at rendering than your 7150M. There is no reason it won't run these things you mentioned, but it will not be as fast as some dedicate graphic adapters.

Thanks for the info. That's all I need to know. I would love to get a thinkpad with dedicated graphics but its not gonna fit my budget right now.
