SL300 headphone jack / no sound

Hi

I have a problem with a Thinkpad SL300 and the headphone jack / audio out. If I plug my headphones in the jack (i have tried with several different), I don't get audio from the headphones. However, the built in speakers continues to play the audio! Is there any software I need to install to get this to work?

OS is Windows 7 x64, all Windows Updates installed.
