does SL410 touchpad support tapping?

Hi, the question is in the header.
I use debian and once had problems with tapping on an acer netbook, so i'm not absolutely sure
is this feature missing on lenovo or am I experiencing a software probem.
Vertical and horizontal scrolling works well.

I have never seen a modern laptop with no tapping support on the touchpad. It is a driver/setting issue.
