SL410 9 cell battery... same as T42?

I just ordered a 9 cell battery for my SL410. After doing so, I noticed that Lenovo lists:
ThinkPad T/R/W/Z/SL Series 9 Cell Li-Ion Battery (45J7966) ...

As shows compatibility as ALL MODELS in the listed series.

Does that mean my old T42 Battery would work in the new SL410?

Unfortunately no. Only T60 and later is compatible.

For older models Lenovo calls the batteries T4x/R5x battery.

I can confirms Dr_ST also: I have a W500_ W519 + T60/1+SL510 series machine - the battery you menion is THE SAME FIT on on the machins I got...

there were great bargins few days ago - ended Dec17th @ Lenovo Outlet Store for battery etc = i got 3 of them for @12.00 each free ship !!
