Will 8GB Dolphin 1333MHz work for R500 2735W2D ?

Hello

I just bought my first Thinkpad ;]

R500 2735W2D and I was wondering if 2x4GB of 1333MHz ram will work with him?
And is this Dolphin any good or better look for something else?

Never heard of that brand but no reason why it shouldn't work. Lenovo used Hynix, Samsung, Crucial, Micron, Elpida, and Ramaxel RAM. Nanya is also a good brand used by OEMs.

R500 can use PC3-8500s (1066), 10600s (1333), and 12800s (1600) 4GB sticks so long as they are 2rx8 or Dual Rank with 8 chips on each side. Single rank 4GB sticks are no good in Montevina and Arrandale Thinkpads.

The RAM will run at the speed to match the CPU's FSB.

If this photo is a representative, it does have micron chips in 16 chips total (2Rx8), this will work no problem, make sure to insist on what you will get before buying.
