Thinkpads: Now in different finishes!
Thinkpads: Now in different finishes!

While I am not opposed to different finishes (within reason), at least Lenovo will probably be making the Black model for some time to come. I don't believe they want to drive off their core customers.
Some traditionalists will not be happy seeing ThinkPads in other finishes than black, even though they can still get their Black model. I say: "Lighten up!" Pun intended.

I wouldn't say it's exactly safe to automatically assume Lenovo is totally breaking tradition and straying from customer preferences just simply because they have a titanium cover as an extra option.
I really do think some people are taking this too far, as many have been doing so with just about every move by Lenovo just for the sake of putting down IBM PCD's new owners.
