Desktop gadget

when I click the Gadget on the desktop context menu, the harddrive LED flashed a little bit, but nothing happened. anyone have the same experience and possibly a solution?

If you have UAC turned off then it won't work. It needs to be at the 2nd notch from the bottom the one with : "Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer".
