Updated Lenovo LCD/PM drivers thru WU

I notice that my laptops get updated drivers thru WU. What do these drivers actually improve?

I only have old laptops though, my newest Lenovo is a T420/420s.

Absolutely nothing IMO. I've kept away from hardware-related-updates from WU for years now.
