.ISO needed for Win 7 Home 64 bit

#1 Post by MikalE » Sat Sep 08, 2018 5:33 pm

This is one .iso I don't have and I have an Acer on the bench that is displaying nothing but machine language.

I have a valid OEM key, but of course Microshaft will not allow an .iso download for pre-installed software.

There is no recovery partition on this machine and it is so screwed up only a wipe and reload is going to fix this.

Unless someone with more experience can tell me how to get this machine out of machine language mode.

It's not a problem using it because I can mirror the display in English using my bench T510, but it's so full of junk and probably a virus to boot that it will not repond to commands, allow certain anti-virus programs to run, or takes an eternity to respond to even an 'open window' request.

I'd just as soon reload it. It did pass a CHKDSK pass.

Anyone have this .ISO in 64 bit?

Nevermind, but thanks for looking anyway.

I found one on the internet from Softlay. Hope it passes the checksum.

As long as your BIOS has Slic2.1, you can install from most Lenovo Recovery sets.
