I've upgraded to Win7 RC for few months now. Everything is great except that when trying to dim the lcd brightness to lowest, it is still very bright. When I was using Vista and dim to lowest, I can barely see anything in a daytime in-door situration. All Win7 beta drivers has been installed.
I have also re-inserted my Vista hard drive and I can set brightness level to very dim, so I know it's not a hardware issue.
Has anyone experiencing the same ?

T400 LED WIN7 lowest brightness not nearly as dim as Vista
Re: T400 LED WIN7 lowest brightness not nearly as dim as Vista
Solved my problem by using Intel Graphic driver version 8.15.10.1855. It also re-enabled the indicator bars when turning up or down in brightness.
Now I can dim the LED screen to very very low, like I was able to when using Vista.
