So near and yet so far. Help/advice needed

Just want to share my "sorrow" with the community hoping that the collective mind will come up with ideas.
There is a Thinkpad related item listed on ebay that i desperately wand to buy. It cannot be found by searching, but can be accessed by a direct link. That is because the seller is on vacation. According to the feedbacks he's been on vacation for more than a year now. But he's been active as a buyer in April, and even replied once to my message a month ago and asked what item I needed. But never answered again. The message at the storefront says "away due to hurricane". I even checked the National Hurricane Center - there are no active hurricanes in Florida
I can see the thing, can even press "Buy now" button, but cannot buy. And this is really annoying.

I could not find any other contacts of GAF Electronics, but maybe it's just me.
Is there anything else I can do?

That umo88 that gave him all that feedback is/was connected with http://www.select-technology.net/
I bought a load of LED-LCDs from them several years ago.
Ask them if they still have contact with GAF.
