Everyone already knows the DRM of when the XBOX One came out (2013) and then Microsoft removed it and probably the every 24 Hour check in. A few months ago everyone that is following the console side of tech, Everyone was testing the CMOS if it died to see if the console would be a brick if the CMOS died and the network was closed down.
As for my test, I have the Original XBOX One 2013. I have set the console to "Home Console" to have the ability to play offline. I played Skyrim SE last month and have not turned the XBOX One on since today. Making sure the internet was off, I powered on the XBOX and tried to play a game "disc" and I get error, "connect to the internet first and try again" This is for all games. I went to check to see if console was still set to Home console and it says "You need to be online to see this" {Go Online | Stay Offline} So as of right now the XBOX is bricked if the network for XBOX One was closed down. So I am guessing that you can go offline but only for a certain amount of time before it makes you check in again. The 24 hour check in must be still kept in there or they extended it to 48h, I am not sure as I did a month of no power on.

Say no to DRM restricting usage in such nasty way! I was heavily involved in console modding since I was a teenager. Modchipped and exploited all consoles and handhelds since psx era until ps3 era, due to family duties, no longer into this great domain of wasting time but I hope for you the Xboxone will be p0wned one day!
