My wife has played WSOP (World Series of Poker Game) on Facebook for years.
Everything was hunky-dory until a few months ago, when WSOP changed their system.
Today you have to wait anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours(...) until the game lets you even in!
She played this most of the time on X240 and/or X250 with Windows 7 Pro/SP1 and 8GB RAM.
Lately she has also tried it on the same machines, but then upgraded with W10 (I know, shame on me...).
The same crap results, that game is unplayable.
The (mostly negative) comments from other WSOP-players on Facebook have been removed.
Does anybody have experience with this particular game?
Does it need a gaming laptop, and if so, which one? Maybe even a Macbook?
Interested to hear your comments/suggestions.

Don't the facebook apps run on the facebook servers/game company servers?RealBlackStuff wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 12:35 pmMy wife has played WSOP (World Series of Poker Game) on Facebook for years.

The speed of the access device will limit the wifi speed and page renderign speed but it's more likely that the problem is "theirs" not "yours"...

Yup, the main problem is all "theirs".
But my problem is that my wife is really pee'd off and blames her Thinkpad (and thus me...).
Any other laptop(s) that can cope with this?

Get the newest M2 MacBook Pro and try the game... if that fails, well. we know who is to blame (facecrook)
