Battery validation check removal for x131e

I bought a battery for my x131e and its use is prevented by the battery validation check upon boot that identifies it as a non-genuine battery.

I learned about GitHub repository offering images to patch the EC: https://github.com/hamishcoleman/thinkpad-ec

but the x131e does not appear among the (very few) supported devices. These are:

T430, T430s, T530, W530, x230, x230t

Do you think it is possible for me to use any of these images to patch my x131e, or some other tool?
