Thinkpad 770Z

#1 Post by MarkB » Sun Jun 13, 2004 6:11 pm

I have a TP 770Z I'd like to sell to buy a newer model. Where's the best place to determine its value and to sell it? I have 256MB of RAM and 14 Gig HD.

Someone mentioned eBay but I've never even visited there and wouldn't know where to start. Is this easy to do without a lot of study? Or is there a better way?

Go to eBay and search for 770Z, then check the completed results to see what similar machines to your's have recently sold for.

Then figure out what you reasonably expect to get for your specific machine and either post it on eBay or list it here in the User For Sale forum.

FWIW, I've recently purchased several 770Zs on eBay for ~$100. I've purchased ones with the 13.7" SXGA display for $150. I've also seen SXGA machines go for more than $300. Your's will sell somwehre between those two extremes.

James
