E430 upgrade to 5G

I have a Thinkpad E430 3450CTO S/N MP-1EALL. I am seeking a 5G wireless card for it. I have tried two (,IBM BCM943228HMB 04W3764, and Intel Centrino Advanced-n 6235ANHMW} which were recommended for it but the bios would not accept them. Is there a card that will actually be accepted by the bios? And is there anything else that will have to be upgraded. One person mentioned that the antenna might have cause a problem beyond the bios solution.
