thinkpad e550 (fn lit) (2 short beeps)

i have a E550
i never had a problem with it.
i let it sit for a while and when i went back to this laptop, when i booted to a gray screen, the fn key was lit up.
and it gave me 2 short beeps also the i in thinkpad was lit.

i pulled both battery's reinstalled both battery's rebooted same thing as above.

so i ordered a battery coin cell, for this computer. it took a couple of days.

i installed the battery. rebooted the computer still fn key is lit, still have the red i lit, but now black screen not lit.

any help or guidance would be appreciated greatly
