Lenovo E475 type 20H4-0006US BIOS 1.23 (R0EET49W)

Hello folks

This is my first post here and I just wanted to give back to community because reading the forums was helpful for me to get some knowledge on how to extract the BIOS .bin file from the FL1 file of the update package.

First i want to state that this BIOS file is 100% tested by me on my own thinkpad e475 laptop.

TLDR (just go down to the end for the link to the file)

My laptop was having trouble because the boot menu was always empty, no options to boot from any device, no matter what.

This was because of a known problem with Lenovo E475 EFI BIOS, but because my machine was off warranty it could cost me $150 USD just to change the motheboard on a authorized service provider, so I went and buy an CH341a SPI programmer (best $12 USD spent on Aliexpress), wait for it to arrive and took 2 reads of the 25Q64FWSIQ file to check for consistency.

Then using HxD editor finded the end and beginning of the .BIN File, cleared the Winbond chip and write the new file to the chip.

reboot and voila, boot menu works normally with this version of the EFI Bios.

so, enough from all the writing.
