Just curious, anyone successfully installed W11 on an E440?

I bid on and won an E440 on eBay because I wanted a 14" laptop with an optical drive for traveling. I saw some E440s on eBay with Windows 11 installed, but I wanted one with an i7 which came with Windows 10-and the price was right. I have tried Rufus, the Microsoft registry hack, changing the boot order, but so far nothing has worked. I realize MS has committed to support W10 until Oct. 2025, but I have W11 on my desktop and so far like what I see. I'm open to other ideas or suggestions. TIA

Which version of Rufus did you try?

What is the error / issue you are experiencing when trying to install?

Rufus 3.20, the latest stable release AFAIK. The error was the laptop did not meet the TPM 2.0 requirement.

And you did use "Extended Win11 Installation" option of Rufus when creating the bootable drive? (silly question, probably obvious, but just to be sure).

Did you try upgrade or clean installation? Both?

I gave up on Rufus. Version 3.20 did not match the instructions and images for version 3.18, so I kept on searching for alternatives.
I came across a YouTube video that was about 14 minutes long, that was titled The Easy way to upgrade... and watched it. I followed the instructions closely, and the process worked. I plan on trying to do this on an old T410 and see if it works on something that old.
So far so good on the E440, so for now mark this thread as solved. Thanks.
